Preparation
Soak green peas in hot water for 5 minutes.
Soak Kasoori methi in hot water for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, drain out the water. Make a fine paste of green chilies and ginger-garlic paste by mixing them and setting aside.

Add oil to a hot pan and wait until the oil gets hot. Add cumin seeds and other whole spices, and sauté for a little while. Then, add the ginger-garlic paste and chopped onion. Sauté till the onion turns golden brown.

Add turmeric powder, amchur powder, coriander powder, and salt. Sauté and mix with the onion. Add tomato puree. Mix well and sauté until the water evaporates and the oil separates.

Add kasoori methi and green peas into the mixture and sauté for 1 min. Add 1/2 cup water and mix well. Cover the pan for 3-4 minutes, and let the mixture cook on low to medium heat.

Add cream to the mixture and mix well. Let the mixture cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Add garam masala and mix it into the material from step 4, then cook for 1 minute. Turn off the heat, and your Methi Malai Matar Curry is ready to serve.
