Peppery Fruit Salad

If you are bored with ordinary fruit salad, here we are bringing a recipe for fruit salad with a twisted combination of sweet and peppery tastes.It features apples, pineapple, pears, and mango, complemented by hot pepper and chili to add a tangy flavor. You'll love having it with your breakfast or lunch.

Ingredients

Item Quantity
1-inch cubes of Mango 1/2 cup
1-inch cubes of Cucumber 1/2 cup
1-inch cubes of Apple 1/2 cup
1-inch cubes of Pears 1/2 cup
1-inch cubes of Pineapple 1 cup
Black Salt 1 teaspoon
Peanuts 1/4 cup
Lime juice 1 tablespoon
Honey 1/2 tablespoon
Tamarind paste 1/2 tablespoon
Finely chopped hot pepper 1/4 cup
Finely chopped red chili 1/4 cup

 

Cooking
  • Step 1

Add finely chopped red chili, hot pepper, tamarind paste, and honey to a small bowl. Mix all items well.

  • Step 2

Add the juice of a lime on top of the mixture from step 1.

  • Step 3

Roast peanuts in a pan and sprinkle salt on top of the peanuts. Once lightly roasted, crush all peanuts into small chunks. Now, mix the peanut chunks with the mixture from step 2.

  • Step 4

Mix all types of fruits in a large bowl. Pour a mixture of step 3 over top of the mixed fruits. Mix all the materials well, and your fruit salad is ready to serve.

Serving

Serve fruit salad as part of breakfast or lunch.
